Does either of the party's sound like you? Welcome to Valentine's day!

I am not against Valentine's day celebrations. Neither am I in for it. It's just that I find it all very amusing. The way people feel bad for someone who is single, worse for someone who is committed, and unexplainable sadness for the ones who are married! My question is, WHY?

We don't need a partner to celebrate Valentine's Day. We don't have to troll someone who is in a relationship. Married people do celebrate this day maybe even in a better way than those "Just In Love" couples!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR, definitely! But isn't Love in the air ALWAYS??? We are a bunch of selfish and self-centered humans that we need a reminder to CELEBRATE LOVE. To tell someone, those three golden words - I LOVE YOU.

I say LOVE IS IN THE AIR, ALWAYS because it's not always about those cute greeting cards, the bouquet of roses, or expensive food dates and gifts. Disagree? Imagine this:

Your mother who started using WhatsApp recently sending you a kiss emoticon

Your father checking on you through a half-closed door to make sure you are sleeping soundly

Your sister standing up for you when your mother is shouting at you.

Your brother nudging you with his elbow for no reason whenever he passes by you.

Your friend telling asking you If you are alive because you haven't spoken in days.

Your boyfriend sending you "I LOVE YOU" every night before he sleeps.

Your girlfriend asks you if you have had food.

Your husband says NO because this is the 10th time in a week you wanted to shop again but gets something really special for you that day.

Your wife shouts at you for putting the wet towel on the bed again but prepares your favorite dish for lunch.

Your child saying I am not a child anymore but hugging you tight because she has a broken heart.

Feeling something? Did you feel a pit in your stomach? A lump in your throat? It's LOVE. Every day we have these scenarios happening right in front of our eyes. But we are blind because we are adamant about celebrating love and relationships only on the designated days!

If you have someone to celebrate valentine's day with, awesome!

If you are single and happy, celebrate yourself!

Let us not look down on anyone on valentine's day. In the same way, let's not look down on anyone on any day because love is to be celebrated every single moment.

Everyone deserves to love and to be loved. Except if you are going to be a person who says  "I LOVE YOU" on valentine's day without meaning it and then break a heart by next valentine's day, then you don't deserve love. As does the saying, ' love is just a word until someone gives a meaning to it' - Be that person who can give the meaning,

Celebrate Love.

Celebrate Life.
